29th Annual St. Nicholas Parish (Freedom) 
Baseball Tournament 

When: July 27, 28 & 29 2012 (Friday, Saturday & Sunday) 

Where: Freedom VFW Park (Hwy 55, Freedom) 

Mark your calendar now for the 29th Annual St. Nick’s Baseball Tournament. It is a fun 
filled family oriented weekend. 

We will have a new format this year, as it will be strictly a Machine Pitch tournament. 
There will be 4 4-team pools and teams will play a round-robin (3 games) in their pool. 
After pool play is complete, the top 2 teams from each pool will enter the Gold Flight 
tournament, and the bottom 2 teams from each pool will compete in the Silver Flight 
tournament. 

Teams will consist of up to 12 players (boys and/or girls) 8 years old or younger as of 
May 1st, 2012. This tournament will be played with pool play on Friday and Saturday 
and then teams are bracketed based on pool results for Saturday and Sunday. 

Once again we will present quality awards to the players/teams. Both tournament 
flights will have the following awards. 

There will be 12 awards per team broken down as follows: 

Champion…………………………..Trophy 
2nd Place……………………………Trophy 
3rd Place…………………………… Trophy 
All other participants……………… Medals 

Entry fee is $150.00 per team. The registration forms and entry fees will be taken until 
the tournament are full. Tournament schedule and final rules will be sent out 
approximately 2 weeks before the tournament. 

Our weather-related cancellation policy is if a team only gets 1 game in, the refund will 
be 50% of the entry fee; if they get 2 games in, the refund will be 25%; 3 or more games 
will be no refund. 

This information may be copied and passed on to other teams that would like to join our 
tournament. If you are no longer the contact for the Machine Pitch tournament teams in 
your area please forward this information to the correct party. As always please call if
